Title I, Part A, Capacity Building Initiative

ESC Resources

Welcome to the ESC Resource Hub

This space is designed specifically for our ESC partners to access the specialized tools, internal guidance, and collaborative materials.

What You’ll Find Here

As a key link between the initiative and our local LEAs, your role requires unique resources that aren't available on the public-facing site. This curated library includes:

  • ESC-Specific Training Modules: Facilitator guides and presentation decks tailored for regional workshops.
  • Internal Communications: Official branding kits, messaging frameworks, and legislative updates.
  • Presentation & Training Archives: Conference and training materials shared by TEA and other ESCs.

Note: The materials found in this section are intended for ESC staff use. Please ensure that any shared LEA-facing documents are sourced from the public-facing webpage to maintain version control.

Stay Connected

Our goal is to ensure you have the high-leverage tools needed to support your districts effectively. If you encounter any technical issues or have a resource suggestion that could benefit the entire ESC network, please reach out to a member of our team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have additional questions? Contact us and we’ll be happy to help!

  • Access is restricted to Education Service Center staff directly involved in the ESC ESSA Basic Services Initiative. Credentials should not be shared with LEA personnel or external contractors.

  • Most documents in this section are 'internal-use only' facilitator guides or administrative tools. For materials intended for districts, please direct them to the public-facing website to ensure they receive the most current versions.

  • We update the hub on a rolling basis. Major updates coincide with TEA (Texas Education Agency) cycle releases, legislative changes, or the launch of new training modules.

  • Email is the best way to communicate about updates – (t1si@esc14.net Subject: Website Update Requested). The more information you can provide (e.g. screenshots, direct links, etc.), the easier it will be to get the issue correctly quickly. Our technical team typically resolves site issues within 48 hours.

  • Yes. The 'Branding & Communications' folder contains approved Title I Capacity Building logos, templates, and branding standards to ensure statewide consistency. Reach out to our Digital Media Consultant if you have any questions about usage.

  • Absolutely. We encourage ESCs to share regional tools that have proven successful. Submit your suggestions via email (t1si@esc14.net Subject: Collaborative Share) folder for review by the Initiative leads.

  • Email us (t1si@esc14.net) and someone will be in touch!

LEA Program Plan Training Presenter Resources

ESC Training Toolkit Components

These resources are meant for ESCs only and should not be shared with school systems, Charters, or anyone not providing ESSA Basic Services in association with the Texas Education Agency.

Below you will find resources for ESC trainers to use when training districts. Please check back before each training to verify you are using the most up-to-date resources.

Presenter Resources Explained

Presenter Resources (listed below) should not be shared with clients/participants.

  • Presenter Guide: The Presenter Guide is the exact same as the ESC Presentation Slides with Presenter Notes but in a different format.
  • Advanced Prep Sheet: The Advanced Prep Sheet gives tips for the presenter to consider in preparing for the presentation.
  • Training Schedule: The Training Schedule gives an approximate time frame of advise time to spend on each section of slides in the presentation with an extra column so the presenter may keep track on how much time they actually spend should they choose to in case they want to make any adjustments.
  • Presentation Template (Slides with presenter notes): You will need to make a copy for your drive/desktop because the presentation is "View Only." Note: the original presentation was prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint .ppt, not Google Slides.
  • Presentation Recording (Video): The voiced over Presentation Recording is the exact same as the Presentation Template Slides but with the TICB Consultant's voice recorded on each slide. This recording is not meant to be presented to clients but more of a resource for the ESC presenter.
  • Zoom Copy-Paste Links (for virtual trainings): This document captures the documents referenced throughout the training so you can drop the links in chat.
  • Scavenger Hunt Presenter Directions: This is for your reference as you present the scavenger hunt activity.
  • Variation Ideas (Activities from ESC Counterparts): As our ESC Counterparts present this session, if you have ideas on how you varied this training and would like to share, please populate them on this document.
  • Padlet Instructions: If you are conducting the session virtually and would like to use the padlet, the "Padlet Instructions" document provides guidance on how to 'remake' the padlet so you can use it for your training.
